Ground Pilots debut single – ‘A Billion Things’/’Castaway’

FolderHaving supported the likes of The Happy Mondays and Frank Turner, the smooth acoustic grooves of Ground Pilots are set to release their debut album ‘In The Way of the Oceans’ in December.  Here’s the latest single ‘A Billion Things’ taken from the album:

1. How did you get your initial start in music?

Most probably being bought my first guitar at the age of 9.

2. What would be your ultimate aim in the industry?

One of my aims is to somehow get the chance to support someone in a couple of arenas at some point in my career.

3. How long have you been writing your own music?

Since the age of 11 with four school mates after we started our first band.

4. Who are your top three influences and why?

At the moment even though i sound nothing like them, my 3 top influences are Miike Snow / Alberta Cross / The Boxer Rebellion because they simply have great songs !!!

5. Is there anything you would like people to know about your current release?

The both animation videos are made by myself.

6. Where are you based and what’s your local scene like? Any favourite venues?

I’m originally from Liverpool but moved to London to complete this album, not really on the London scene for good venues just yet, but I’ve played a couple of gigs in proud Camden Stables, and they are always great nights with a varied genre of music bands.

7. Who else can you recommend from your local scene for people to have a listen to?

Nobody only Ground Pilots !!!

8. Give our readers a round up of where they can find you online and hear more of your music.

YouTube is best really to check out our sounds !!!
