How did you get your initial start in music?

We were all active in music before WE-ARE-Z came together, playing with other artists,  playing at jam sessions, picking up whatever gigs we could. We all played from an early age, so it’s hard to say exactly how we got our initial start…. we were always doing it

What would be your ultimate aim in the industry?

To grow and sustain ourselves as we create more and more music art. To create fantastic and unique gig experiences with more and more people. To feel a resonance together with more and more people in as many different places across the globe.

How long have you been writing your own music?

As a band, for the last 3 years.

Who are your top three influences and why?

oooh, impossible to say, we have such huge musical appetites between us.  We simply couldn’t break that down 3 artists.

Is there anything you would like people to know about your current release?

You will lose yourself if your only motivations in life are to seek financial and material gain. These things will never fill the holes in your souls. That is what we’d like you to know about our current release.

Where are you based and what’s your local scene like? Any favourite venues?

We are an international endeavor. We’re like the electron in an atom… everywhere at the same time. We’re in London, Barcelona, Paris, Luzern. We love it like that. The Triebhaus in Luzern, Switzerland is an amazing venue that has been incredibly good to us.

Who else can you recommend from your local scene for people to have a listen to?

Check out Bonaparte from Berlin, they’re great artists with a killer live show

Give our readers a roundup of where they can find you online and hear more of your music.

iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud
